Fishing and Florida. Well they are synonymous with each other. We live in one of the best sport fishing area of the world. We cater to all levels of anglers from bamboo pole fishing for Sheepshead to the king of tournaments the King Mackerel Tournament. Jacksonville Beach has a one of newest and nicest fishing piers in Florida and for a few dollars you can fish all day. Charter Captains are also available for half and full days. Kayaking:
Jacksonville and the Beaches is naturally suited for Kayaking. You have the option of ocean or inland waters kayaking. Both give you many opportunities for sightseeing, exercise and especially fishing. Kayak Amelia located between the Mayport Ferry and Amelia Island will provide you with kayaks, instructions, maps and most importantly tide times (getting stuck in low tide is a not a good thing).
